Reading At Home

As schools across the world are closing down in response to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) Pandemic, many educators are being asked to prepare home schooling programs.

Later this week I'll be publishing some resources around this - but for the moment I've had a request from The Grove Education Centre for a simple pamphlet about reading at home - as they want to keep literacy happening for all our students.

I've spent some time working on this - and would like to share it in case it is helpful. The pamphlet is written to be clear and simple and to give some beginning points for parents and carers just starting with reading at home.

I hope you all stay safe and calm during this period - and have fun reading!

Thanks so much Jane! I am currently in the process of putting some online links and pages of things to do together for our Spec Ed families. This has come at a good time! Mwah xx
